Organic Maple Syrup — Did You Know?
- Maple syrup contains an abundance of calcium, potassium, and other helpful minerals.
- Like broccoli or bananas, it’s a natural source of beneficial antioxidants.
- Pure maple syrup has a higher nutritional value than all common sweeteners.
- It can be used in your favorite recipes, cocktails, and more!
- Pure, granulated maple sugar is a healthy substitute for white processed sugar.
- Our maple products can be added to an endless variety of recipes, cocktails, and more!
Not Just for Pancakes — How To Use Organic Maple Syrup
Want to enjoy your Vermont maple syrup like a local? Don’t limit yourself to pancakes, waffles, and french toast! Our 100% pure Vermont maple syrup can be used in your favorite recipes, cocktails, and more. Our granulated maple sugar is also a delicious and healthy alternative to using standard, white sugar for baking and cooking.
How To Substitute Maple for Sugar
Cooking with granulated maple sugar:
- Almost too easy! Just substitute granulated maple sugar one-for-one anywhere you use white processed sugar.
Cooking with pure vermont maple syrup:
- Substitute ¾ to one cup for every cup of granulated white sugar
- Decrease the liquid in your recipe by 2 to 4 tablespoons for each cup of syrup used.
- Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, unless your recipe already calls for buttermilk, sour milk or sour cream.
- Batters containing maple tend to caramelize around the edges quickly, so decrease oven temperature by 25 degrees.
